About Us
Lambon boats is a partnership, managed by Steve Lambon & Ian Hillsdon.
Steve is the hands on side of the partnership and has been building boats for over twenty years, and still enjoys the challenges
involved with building a quality boat.
Ian’s role is to liaise with the customer ensuring that they are happy every step of the way, also with the customers requirements in
mind he will design the vessels ready for manufacture.
Buying a boat is a big commitment, our tag line as a company is ‘a big dream needs the right decision’ and we stick by that ensuring
that our customers are 100% happy with the design before manufacture.
We at Lambon boats try to make that decision easier by establishing exactly what our customer’s needs are then designing the craft
around those needs whilst giving expert advice along the way.
We encourage our customers to come and see us and their boat throughout the process.
We are predominately a steel shell builder, but can accommodate a boat to a sail-away standard, and we work very closely with
professional boat fitters, should the vessel need to be completed.
We offer a full mediation and design service in establishing the core use of the vessel, and will work our designs around your needs,
and the requirements of the RCD category.

We will start with discussing your requirements and desires for your project ensuring that you are the designer of your boat; leave the boring technical work to us!
We will then produce detailed drawings until you are happy with the design, once you are happy, we will then manufacture your boat.
We like to get close up and personal with our customers so that they can be there every step of the way to ensure that they are happy with the progress.
We manufacture with high quality as a must!
